Job Summary

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Smart City and Safe City projects, ensuring high availability of Integrated Command & Control Center (ICCC) infrastructure, surveillance systems, intelligent traffic management systems, public safety solutions, and ICT networks. The role includes coordinating with clients, OEMs, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery and compliance with SLA requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage operations and maintenance of Smart City and Safe City solutions.
  • Monitor the performance of ICCC platforms, CCTV surveillance, Video Management Systems (VMS), ANPR, Facial Recognition Systems (FRS), Public Address Systems (PAS), and Intelligent Traffic Management Systems (ITMS).
  • Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and timely resolution of critical issues.
  • Coordinate with government authorities, clients, OEMs, vendors, and field teams.
  • Prepare operational reports, dashboards, MIS, and performance reviews.
  • Support project audits, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure cybersecurity and information security practices are followed.
  • Supervise field engineers, operators, and service partners.
  • Manage spare inventory, asset records, and warranty tracking.
  • Participate in project expansion, system upgrades, and technology implementation.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Smart City and Safe City technologies.
  • Experience with ICCC operations and command center management.
  • Knowledge of CCTV, Networking, Servers, Storage, Video Analytics, ITMS, IoT, GIS, and SCADA systems.
  • Understanding of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, databases, and cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols, fiber infrastructure, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MIS reporting.
