Financial Accounting Manager

A great opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accounting Manager to lead our small Finance team to deliver core accounting functions and statutory reporting at NEC New Zealand.  You will also work closely with our NEC Australia finance colleagues.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience, ideally in the technology sector
  • Experience in leading a finance team
  • Proficiency in cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Experience using SAP Business by Design/SAP and BI reporting tools (e.g. TM1)
  • Ability to analyse financial data and provide insights to management for decision making
  • Strong communication skills, particularly with presenting to a non-financial audience, and
  • Advanced problem solving skills to identify issues, recommend solutions and implement process improvements.
