Role summary / Purpose :

As the global talent expert at NEC Corporation, you will be responsible for leading and managing the company's learning and development initiatives on a global scale. You will be working in a team which committing and believing in the potential of talent and expected to work flexibly within the talent management domain.

 

Expected outcomes in next few years:

• Continuously improve and deliver global leadership programmes, identifying the ideal leader figures for NEC global

• Develop and maintain effective learning platform with impactful contents and talent analytics towards learning

 

Essential responsibilities: 

 

Global talent development Roadmap

• In conjunction with the Global Head of OD & Talent, lead the design of global L&D roadmap to contribute towards corporate Mid Term Plan and objectives,

 

Global L&D management

• Design, develop and deliver the innovative and impactful learning programmes, managing the global learning platform (NEC Academy)

• Establish and maintain key learning metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of talent development programmes

• Lead the designing talent analytics

 

Leadership development programmes

• Design, develop and deliver innovative and impactful global leadership programmes

 

Fostering L&D culture throughout global NEC

• Drive a culture of continuous L&D by promoting learning opportunities, knowledge sharing, and self-directed learning initiatives

• Work with the One NEC Survey team to drive employee engagement through L&D initiatives

 

Experiences:

• Talent development experience working at either regional or global scope

• Proven experience in designing and implementing talent development programs

• Excellent knowledge of the latest talent development methodologies, and cutting edge talent magament tools 

 

Requirements / Qualifications :

• Coaching, psychometric tools certification are desirable

• Has strong commercial/business acumen

• Has high data literacy and data-driven approachAbility to work with agility and ownership

• Excellent problem-solving with transformative mind-set

• Excellent stakeholder management and developing good work relationships across the organization

• Effective and fluent communication in English - speaking, listening, writing and reading
