Overview:

Fully proficient and mostly independent individual contributor. A recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Works on large projects to achieve operational targets with a significant impact on function / sub-function results. May be responsible for setting day-to-day operational objectives for the team, as well as may direct workflow to other team members. Coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and often complex.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, position and champion NEC’s value-proposition to prospective customers.
  • Drive initiatives, strategy to achieve assigned business objectives.
  • Identify, review and forge partnership arrangement with key vendors in support of business model and business growth.
  • Develop and implement the business strategy for each core activity with a view to increase market awareness and share.
  • Develops and builds strong customer relationships at all levels
  • Develop existing business and identify/create new business portfolio to achieve set business objectives.
  • Assist in annual budgeting and performance of the core activities.
  • General Sales & Marketing work focuses on a combination of general sales and marketing work including:
  • Face-to-face and/or remote sales to new or existing customers
  • Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services and/or solutions
  • Planning, developing, and delivering the marketing strategy for products/services and associated brand(s)
  • Evaluating, measuring, and managing the product/brand P&L (e.g., budgeting, expenditures, profitability, return-on-investment, etc.) Incumbents in this specialization may also provide customer service and support in the form of information on product/price and resolution to issues related to billing, shipping, delivery, complaints, etc. Incumbents matching to this specialization are compensated based on achievement of sales targets.

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of selling and developing the Solution / System Integration business portfolio.
  • Candidate having regional experience in Southeast Asia region is preferred
  • Prior experience working with clients from the government and/or FSI sector is desirable.
  • Prior experience of government tenders and bids is essential to this role
  • Candidate with domain knowledge in Biometrics, Identity Management, and Public Safety and Security are welcomed.
  • Problem solving ability in a sales environment including the ability to qualify and close deals.
