Assistant Manager, Regional Finance

• Manage and oversee financial reporting for multiple entities within the region to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Be responsible for accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial reports (under IFRS, J-GAAP), and analysis for each entity, ensuring transparency, and adherence to accounting standards.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve overall financial health.
• Understand the businesses' key strategies and provide relevant financial insights that value-add to the business performance. Design and prepare regular and adhoc performance reports with impactful data visualisations, together with analyses that link the financial reports to business drivers and strategies.
• Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and other relevant parties and resolve complex problems positively.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards, implementing necessary adjustments to accounting practices.

Requirements

• Academic Qualification Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Finance Business Partnering or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) within the IT industry.
• Hands on experiences in J-SOX, J-GAAP and IFRS with international standard would be an added advantage
• Proven experience handling the financial reporting for multiple entities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Able to work independently and under pressure in fast-paced environment.
