Our Architecture Services team provides Architectural services that clients, sales and other internal business units can consume. The team is responsible for creating, maintaining, and overseeing the integrity of end-to-end technology designs and solutions ensuring they address specific opportunity and project business requirements. The work within the team predominantly consists of client-facing pre-sales and project-related activity.

 

With growth in our team, we are now seeking a Senior Solutions Architect (IT Infrastructure) to take on a key role in our WA team. 

 

We’re seeking a highly experienced Senior Solutions Architect with deep capability across enterprise infrastructure, including compute, virtualisation, storage and backup technologies. This role suits a seasoned architect who thrives in client-facing engagements, excels in solution design, and can confidently lead both pre‑sales and project delivery activities.

 

The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of technical expertise, commercial awareness, and consulting experience, paired with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and operate as a trusted advisor. They will be comfortable working within complex enterprise environments, developing end‑to‑end solutions, and ensuring technical integrity throughout the solution lifecycle.

 

Key Skills and Experience

 

Technical Leadership & Architecture Expertise

  • 7+ years architectural experience designing and delivering complex IT infrastructure solutions, ideally in a Managed Services environment.
  • Proven experience with HPE server and storage platforms, Cisco networking, Netapp storage, and complementary enterprise technologies (e.g. Aruba, Fortinet, virtualisation, cloud platforms etc).
  • Demonstrated capability in installing, configuring and integrating infrastructure technologies across on‑prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
  • Ability to serve as Technical Lead during both pre‑sales engagements and delivery phases, providing solution design, technical oversight, and guidance to engineering teams.

 

Client Engagement & Consulting Skills

  • Strong customer-facing presence, able to build trusted advisor relationships and clearly articulate technical concepts to business and technical stakeholders.
  • Skilled at uncovering client business requirements and translating them into high-quality, commercially sound solution designs.
  • Experience facilitating client workshops, solution demonstrations and presentations.
  • Ability to work on billable customer engagements, with a focus on great customer outcomes.

 

Pre‑Sales & Commercial Acumen

  • Extensive background contributing to bids, proposals and tender responses as a subject matter expert.
  • Ability to produce accurate cost models, solution scopes, and architecture documentation.
  • Demonstrated success influencing clients and supporting sales teams to drive solution adoption.

 

Team Contribution & Mentoring

  • A collaborative mindset with a passion for lifting capability across the architecture team.
  • Experience mentoring associate architects or engineers, supporting their development in both technical skills and consulting capability.

 

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Certifications across HPE, Cisco, Aruba, and Netapp technology stacks.
  • AWS, Microsoft Azure certifications (preferred).
  • TOGAF and/or ITIL certifications.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (undergraduate or postgraduate) highly regarded
