Are you a Secure Network Engineer who thrives on keeping enterprise networks fast, secure and running smoothly? We're looking for an experienced engineer to join our Perth team in a key role supporting high-performance networks, where your skills will genuinely make an impact.

 

About the role

You'll be a critical part of our network project and operations, delivering change requests, responding to high-severity incidents, and implementing robust security measures across enterprise and data centre environments. You'll work across a broad and modern technology stack, collaborating with stakeholders to keep our networks resilient, compliant, and performing at their best.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver change requests of varying complexity, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless network operations across teams

  • Maintain network performance and respond to high-severity incidents (P1 & P2), resolving issues within SLA

  • Implement security measures including firewall policies, access authentication, and disaster recovery planning

  • Respond to and remediate active vulnerabilities across deployed network and security environments

  • Monitor network performance and configure network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs) for optimal functionality

  • Maintain detailed technical documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

  • Ensure detailed change implementation scoping and planning in accordance with ITIL, NEC, and customer best practice for successful delivery of change requirements

 

About you

  • Minimum 5 years of enterprise networking experience

  • Considerable knowledge of enterprise networks and data centres

  • Extensive experience implementing, managing, and troubleshooting Cisco-based secure networks

  • Extensive experience with firewall technologies including Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto, and/or Fortinet

  • Experience supporting load balancer technologies such as F5 or Citrix NetScaler

  • Experience supporting enterprise wireless networks

  • Experience supporting software-defined network environments (e.g. Cisco SD-Access)

  • Experience supporting SD-WAN environments (Cisco, Aruba, or Fortinet)

  • Experience with network management systems

  • High-level verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical staff and management
