Secure Networks Specialist

If you're an experienced Secure Network Engineer with a passion for supporting secure, high-performance enterprise networks, we want to hear from you. Join our Perth-based team and take on a vital role in delivering reliable network operations across complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Support & Troubleshooting: Maintain network performance, respond to high-severity incidents (P1 & P2), and ensure issues are resolved within SLAs.

• Network Security: Implement security measures, including firewall policies, access authentication, and disaster recovery planning.

• Performance Monitoring & Configuration: Monitor network performance and configure network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs) for optimal functionality.

• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed technical documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Mentorship & Collaboration: Support junior engineers and work closely with other teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of network systems.

• Change & Case Management: Ensure all network changes go through proper approval processes and maintain accurate case notes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 5+ years of enterprise experience in networking.

• Strong knowledge of enterprise networks and data centers.

• Extensive experience with Cisco secure networks, including implementation, management, and troubleshooting.

• Expertise in firewall technologies (Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet).

• Experience with load balancers (F5, Citrix NetScaler).

• Hands-on experience with enterprise wireless networks.

• Familiarity with software-defined networking (Cisco SD-Access) and SD-WAN environments (Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet).

• Experience with network management systems.
