Join a High-Impact Project as Our New Technical Lead 

 

We’re assembling a unique, high-performing team to support a major, large-scale project and we’re looking for a skilled technical lead to play a key role in driving its success. 

 

As the Specialist, you’ll provide strategic technical leadership across our technical Secure Networks team. Working closely with clients, internal teams, and management to ensure excellence in execution and delivery. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide technical leadership across the delivery of secure network solutions, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment to project objectives. 

  • Act as the technical SME for Cisco SDA, Catalyst Center, and Check Point firewalls for the full project’s lifecycle from project delivery to BAU support activities. 

  • Support project planning with technical input including scope validation, solution sequencing, effort estimation, dependency mapping, and risk identification. 

  • Lead technical design reviews, implementation planning, and solution assurance in collaboration with architecture and project teams. 

  • Guide engineers through deployment, troubleshooting, and issue resolution during project execution. 

  • Act as the key escalation point for complex technical issues and major incidents relating to secure network infrastructure. 

  • Ensure solutions are delivered in line with technical standards, operational requirements, and supportability expectations. 

  • Oversee and review technical documentation including implementation plans, as-built documentation, handover packs, and network diagrams. 

  • Drive best practice across secure network delivery, including segmentation policy implementation, firewall rule design, and operational governance. 

  • Work closely with stakeholders to translate business and security requirements into practical, scalable technical outcomes. 

 

About you 

  • Proven experience in a Technical Lead, Senior Network Engineer, or equivalent role delivering complex enterprise network and security projects. 

  • Strong hands-on expertise in Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA), including deployment, integration, and operational support. 

  • Demonstrated experience with Cisco Catalyst Center for provisioning, policy, automation, and lifecycle management. 

  • Strong working knowledge of network segmentation principles and implementation within secure enterprise environments. 

  • Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting Check Point firewalls in complex environments. 

  • Expert knowledge network design, implementation, migration, and transition to support. 

  • Ability to lead technical delivery without relying on direct people management responsibility. 

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to act as an escalation point for high-priority technical issues. 

  • Experience working closely with project managers, architects, and delivery teams to ensure successful technical outcomes. 

  • Strong documentation capability, including creation of high-quality implementation documents, handovers, and network diagrams using tools such as Microsoft Visio or draw.io. 

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
