Role Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with experience in testing Power BI dashboards and GIS-based web applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in validating business intelligence reports, geospatial data visualization, data accuracy, and end-to-end application functionality. The role involves functional, data, UI, and performance testing of analytics dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Power BI dashboards for functionality, data accuracy, filters, drill-downs, bookmarks, and report interactions.
• Validate KPIs, charts, tables, slicers, and calculated measures.
• Perform SQL-based backend data validation against Power BI reports.
• Test GIS/map-based applications including:

• Map rendering
• Layers
• Markers
• Geospatial boundaries
• Coordinate accuracy
• Spatial filtering
• Heat maps

• Validate integration between GIS data sources and Power BI dashboards.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.
• Execute regression, functional, integration, smoke, and UAT testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira.
• Create test scenarios, test cases, and test execution reports.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and data engineers to resolve issues.
• Validate data refresh schedules and ETL processes.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ArcGIS or QGIS.
• Experience with spatial databases such as PostGIS.
• Understanding of ETL pipelines.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright.

Experience

• 3–5 years in QA Testing.
• Minimum 2 years of Power BI dashboard testing.
• Minimum 1 year of GIS application testing.
• Experience in data warehouse or BI projects is preferred.

Prerequisites:

Qualification - BE/B Tech

Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience as a test engineer.

Base Location: Noida, but flexible to travel.
