Job Title: Technical Manager

 

Reporting Relationship: Group Project Manager

 

Role Summary: Linux System Engineer who will take care Linux and Windows Server Admin role as well as Data Centre Operations i.e. VM Creation, OS installation, VM Configuration, Patch Management, troubleshooting and log analysis. A Data Centre Support Engineer with strong expertise in managing and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure across Windows Server, Linux Server, VMware virtualization, Nutanix HCI, and Commvault backup solutions. Experienced in ensuring high availability, performance optimization, and data protection within mission-critical environments.

 

Responsibilities:

Execute :

  • Skilled in installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy) and various Linux distributions, with a solid understanding of system hardening, patching, and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience in managing virtualized environments using VMware vSphere/ESXi and Nutanix AHV, including VM provisioning, resource allocation, cluster management, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Proficient in implementing and maintaining enterprise backup and recovery strategies using Commvault, including backup scheduling, monitoring, restoration, and ensuring compliance with data retention policies.
  • Evaluation tasks like IP configuration, File Permission, User creation/deletion, file System management. Have good exposure on RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE Linux, Centos and other similar linux flavour including virtualization i.e. KVM, VMware, Nutanix etc.

 

Prerequisites:

 

Qualification – Bachelors, Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 12+ years on Linux Administrator role.

Desirable qualities: Good Deployment experience in Linux Data Centre. Strong troubleshooting and system platform knowledge 

 

Base Location: Noida (Hybrid as per company policy)

Main skillset: Linux + Windows Data Centre Operations
