Role Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer to lead and manage engineering operations for Smart & Safe City projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying and maintaining surveillance, traffic management, ICT infrastructure, and integrated command & control systems. This role is vital to ensuring smooth field execution and technical excellence in mission-critical urban infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end deployment of Smart & Safe City components including:
- City surveillance (CCTV, PTZ cameras, video analytics)
- ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition)
- Emergency call boxes and public address systems
- ICT networks and Tier 3 Data Center infrastructure
- Smart traffic and environmental sensors
- Supervise field implementation, installation, testing, and commissioning across multiple sites.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, and OEM vendors to ensure integration with the city’s infrastructure.
- Provide technical support during UAT, FAT, and SAT phases.
- Liaise with government stakeholders, consultants, and internal project teams.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, reports, test results, and compliance checklists.
- Support Command and Control Center integration and ensure system interoperability.
- Provide Level 2 support and assist with preventive and corrective maintenance post Go-Live.
Prerequisites:
- Educational Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Information Technology, or related engineering discipline. - Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years in implementing and managing Smart City or Safe City infrastructure projects. - Technical Expertise:
- Hands-on experience with large-scale IP surveillance systems and VMS platforms.
- Exposure to Data Center MEP, server infrastructure, and storage systems.
- Knowledge of IP networks, routers/switches, and structured cabling.
- Familiarity with integration of multiple smart city components to centralized ICCC platforms.
- Desirable Qualities:
- Strong project site coordination and leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Able to interpret system designs, BOQs, SLDs, and network diagrams.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to evolving project needs.
Base Location:
Noida, India
Note: Candidate must be open to travel and stay at project locations across India as per project needs.
