Role Overview
Responsible for leading the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions. This role combines hands-on automation development with team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and delivery management to ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality automation solutions that deliver business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA solutions using tools such as UiPath, Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, RASA, SharePoint, Python, Azure cloud or equivalent.
- Translate business requirements into robust automation designs and technical specifications.
- Ensure automations are scalable, maintainable, secure, and reusable.
- Handle complex automation scenarios involving APIs, databases, OCR and integrations.
- Prepare and review estimations for RPA related requirements using some standard approach.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, process owners, and IT teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
- Ensure timely delivery of automation projects aligned with business objectives.
- Track KPIs, benefits realization, and automation performance.
- Should be able to guide team across SDLC w.r.t RPA requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 4-5 years of experience in RPA development, with at least 1–2 years as a SME role.
- Should have 3+ years of experience in developing solutions using UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform especially Power Automate
- Strong hands-on experience with one or more RPA tools (UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism).
- Proficiency in workflow design, exception handling, and debugging.
- Exposure to databases, SQL, APIs, OCR, and scripting (.NET, Python, or similar) will be a plus point.
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and DevOps concepts
- UiPath/Microsoft Power Platform Certified
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience setting up an RPA CoE (Center of Excellence).
- Knowledge of intelligent automation.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and enterprise IT environments
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
