Role Summary

The Field Execution & Coordination Engineer is responsible for managing end-to-end on-ground implementation and O&M of surveillance and IT infrastructure projects. The role focuses on supervising installation activities, ensuring site readiness, and maintaining strict adherence to project specifications, quality, and safety standards.

The individual acts as a key liaison between internal teams, government authorities, consultants, utility providers, and vendors to secure approvals, resolve site-level challenges, and ensure timely project execution. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate documentation, supporting inspection and acceptance processes, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory and project requirements.

Overall, the position plays a critical role in driving seamless field operations, stakeholder coordination, and successful project commissioning.

Must-have Skills

 

  • Field Execution Expertise
    Strong hands-on experience in supervising civil, electrical, and IT infrastructure installation (poles, cabling, CCTV, JB installation, commissioning).
  • Project Coordination & Stakeholder Management
    Ability to coordinate effectively with government authorities, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to drive project progress.
  • Government Liaisoning
    Practical experience in handling approvals, inspections, and compliance with departments such as police, municipal bodies, and utility agencies.
  • Vendor Management
    Proven ability to manage multiple vendors, track performance, and ensure adherence to timelines, quality, and safety standards.
  • Technical Knowledge (CCTV & Networking Basics)
    Understanding of surveillance systems, power & communication cabling, and basic networking concepts.
  • Problem-Solving in Field Conditions
    Ability to quickly identify and resolve on-site challenges with minimal supervision.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    Strong skills in preparing inspection reports, checklists, and maintaining compliance documentation.

Responsibilities with 6 days working as per client site requirement.

 

1. Field Execution & Installation

  • Supervise and execute site activities including:
    • Civil works such as pits, foundations, and pole installations
    • Junction Box (JB) installation
    • Power and communication cabling
    • Camera installation and alignment
    • IT equipment installation and commissioning
  • Ensure site readiness and adherence to project specifications and quality standards
  • Coordinate installation and activation of electricity meter connections

2. Government & Agency Coordination

  • Act as the single point of contact for coordination with:
    • Delhi Police SPOC (C3i) and DCP offices for approvals and inspections
    • Consultants for Acceptance Testing (AT) of junctions
  • Address and close observations raised by consultants and authorities to obtain final approvals
  • Liaise with electricity distribution companies such as:
    • BRPL, BYPL, Tata Power, NDMC
  • Coordinate with civic and infrastructure authorities including:
    • PWD, MCD, Irrigation & Flood Department, NHAI, and other agencies

3. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with vendors for timely execution of installation activities
  • Monitor vendor performance against timelines, quality, and safety standards
  • Proactively resolve on-site challenges through effective stakeholder coordination

4. Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and maintain field inspection checklists and reports
  • Ensure proper documentation for inspections, approvals, and commissioning
  • Support C2i and C3i teams for non-IT rectification work

Ensure compliance with project guidelines and regulatory requirements

 

Prerequisites

 

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in field execution of infrastructure, surveillance, or IT projects
  • Must have Two Wheeler and Driving License.

 

Specialization Description

Onsite Technology Support provides in-person assistance to employee end users including:

  • Maintaining and troubleshooting a range of user problems including PC hardware/software/LAN and voice network
  • Diagnosing problem source through discussions with users and coordinating with internal organization support and operations groups and/or with vendors to resolve problems
  • Acquiring, installing, and upgrading PC components and software and planning for/responding to service outages and other problems
  • Training users on use of new technology and software

Level Description

Senior support level position requiring a broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools typically obtained through extensive work experience though may require vocational or technical training. Typically works under limited supervision for routine situations whilst providing assistance and training to lower level employees. Generally works on tasks/problems that are not routine and requires analysis to understand. Provides assistance and training to lower level employees.
