SAP Program & Presales Manager:

An SAP Program Manager oversees the successful delivery of SAP solutions across large-scale, multi-site, and often global projects. They act as the strategic bridge between clients, internal teams, and technology partners to ensure outcomes align with business goals.

The SAP Presales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by bridging the gap between customer needs and SAP solutions. This role involves collaborating with sales teams, engaging with clients, and crafting compelling solution proposals that showcase the value of SAP products.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Manage SAP programs within defined scope, time, cost, and quality constraints.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with business objectives.
  • Solution Delivery: Oversee deployment of SAP technologies (e.g., S/4HANA, SAP Portfolio) across hybrid and cloud environments.
  • Pre-sales Support: Assist in scoping, resource estimation, project costing, and proposal development.
  • Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams including consultants, developers, and testers.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Governance & Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders and ensure compliance with delivery methodologies.

 

  • Customer Engagement
    • Participate in client meetings to understand business challenges and requirements.
    • Deliver tailored presentations and product demos that highlight SAP capabilities.
    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and partners.
  • Solution Development
    • Design high-level SAP solution architectures (e.g., SD/MM/PP modules).
    • Evaluate solution options and recommend the best-fit approach.
    • Develop staffing plans, timelines, and cost models for proposed solutions.
  • Sales Support
    • Collaborate with sales teams to identify SAP services and value propositions.
    • Support sales cycles with case studies, presentations, and technical expertise.
    • Respond to RFIs/RFPs with detailed proposals and solution documentation.
  • Team Enablement
    • Train and mentor junior presales consultants on SAP products and strategies.
    • Share best practices and insights to improve team performance.

 

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Portfolio, and related modules.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale SAP implementations.
  • Familiarity with Global Competency Centers (GCCs) and local/Global delivery models.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in IT, Business, or CA/ICWA etc.
  • SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Activate, SAP Solution Manager).
  • Experience in industries like manufacturing, retail, or finance is a plus.

 

Experience: 15-20 years

 

Base Location: Noida, but flexible to travel based on project requirement.
