About the Role:

NEC Corporation India is seeking a skilled Product and Content Specialist to play a key role in driving brand visibility and supporting sales initiatives. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for technology and an ability to craft clear, engaging, and technically precise content. As a Content Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, writing, and editing high-quality content that effectively communicates complex technical concepts to a diverse B2B audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy Development: Create and implement content strategies aligned with business goals and target audience needs.
  • Collaborative Content Creation: Partner with Sales, Product, and Technical teams to understand and translate advanced technology solutions into digestible, customer-centric content.
  • Content Production: Develop a variety of content types, including:
    • Blog posts, technical articles, white papers, case studies, eBooks, webinars, presentations, and video scripts.
    • Website copy, landing pages, and email campaigns.
    • Curate effective content for promotion and Branding during events
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough research and competitive analysis to identify trending topics and industry needs.
  • Campaign Management: Create integrated marketing campaign based on market segments and target audience to increase awareness and generate business opportunities. Measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Website Management and SEO Optimization: Ensure all content is SEO-optimized and follows best practices to drive organic traffic.
  • Product Marketing: Partner with COEs and build NEC’s Proposition to enhance the impact of new product launches in the country/global markets
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest technological developments, industry trends, and content marketing strategies to enhance content relevance and impact.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure content alignment with business objectives and overall marketing strategy including PR and Digital
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to support content creation and execution.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in B2B marketing, specifically in technology or IT industries.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA in Marketing is a plus.
  • Content Expertise: Proven experience in writing technical content and developing successful marketing campaigns.
  • SEO & SEM Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and content marketing best practices.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized, creative, and self-driven with the ability to meet deadlines while working independently.
  • Team Collaboration: A collaborative team player who can work cross-functionally and contribute to shared goals.

Manages or performs work across multiple Marketing sub-families including: Product/Brand Marketing:

  • Defining targeted customer segments and associated messaging
  • Developing marketing strategies and plans. Product/Brand Management (P&L Accountability):
  • Analyzing markets to identify opportunities, determine product requirements, and inform marketing strategies
  • Managing the product/brand. P&L Advertising & Promotion:
  • Creating or coordinating the production and distribution of advertising and promotional materials. Marketing Research & Analysis:
  • Gathering and analyzing marketplace trends and customer dataSpecialization Match Note: Para-Professional incumbents perform basic editing of marketing proposals, presentation, and communication materials; compile and maintain data on status and effectiveness of marketing campaigns and tactics; conduct routine research on marketplace and customer trends.
