Position reporting to:  Sales Head

Brief of role and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for business development activity for NEC solutions in Public Safety & Security for segments like Enterprise, PSUs, Airports, Metro both as OEM & SI projects in Security and Surveillance, in the assigned Territory and Industry Segments.
  • The candidate must be energetic, self-motivated and must have 12+ years of experience in Sales management in the Public Safety / Security & Surveillance domain. 
  • The candidate must have good understanding of products and technologies used in Security and Surveillance projects and must have experience in conceptualization, design and implementation of large scale Security & Surveillance SI projects
  • The candidate will be required to achieve the assigned sales/ revenue target in a financial year in line with the organization’s business objectives of selling a mix of solutions and portfolio services.
  • Responsible for creating the business plan to achieve the set business targets and business objectives
  • Responsible for opportunity planning, account identification and account planning
  • Responsible for strategic account management of key accounts
  • Develop strategic partnerships for route to market
  • Develop and mature client relationships in key pursuit segments
  • Anchor RFP response and proposals to the clients
  • Develop alliances with Key partners and System Integrators

Must Have Skills/Knowledge:

Sales/ Business Development to Strategic Accounts in verticals such as: Critical Infrastructure Protection, Aviation, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Public Sector Enterprises, Metro Rail, Central Government Bodies, Hospitality, Entertainment Sector, State Governments.

 

Preferred Skills/Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated track record of building and closing delivering at least 2 or 3 large engagements of Security & Surveillance solutions in Critical Infrastructure.
  • Sound knowledge of SI industry and exposure to Solutioning and delivery
  • Domain expertise in Surveillance, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Biometric Solutions
  • Ability to articulate and evangelize the vision and positioning of both the company and its offerings and secure long-term commitments.
  • Established relationships and contacts at executive level will be an advantage.
  • The experience, credibility, and presence that enables effective working relationships at all levels within very large and complex organizations
