We are seeking an organised and proactive Project Coordinator to join our team on a 12 month contract.  In this role, you will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within scope. You’ll be the backbone of day-to-day project operations — coordinating resources, managing project data, and supporting communications across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate resources, activities, and equipment to support project delivery
  • Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives
  • Support the preparation of project proposals, schedules, budgets, and documentation
  • Track project progress and monitor issues, escalating when necessary
  • Maintain accurate reporting and project documentation in line with PMO processes
  • Update project management tools such as EPM Project Server and SharePoint
  • Act as a central point of contact for the project team and stakeholders
  • Monitor working hours, budgets, plans, and financials using project tools
  • Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded throughout the project lifecycle

 

Skills & Experience Required

  • 3–5 years of experience in project or PMO coordination and administration
  • Experience supporting Project Managers in the delivery of complex or development-focused projects
  • Familiarity with resource management, financial tracking, and project reporting systems
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders and understand project scope and objectives
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Excellent organisation and multi-tasking capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, yet comfortable working independently
  • Highly adaptable with a demonstrated ability to manage changing priorities
  • AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance (mandatory)
  • Diploma of Project Management
  • Exposure to project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK
  • ITIL V3 Foundation certification 
  • Degree in IT or similar discipline
