Job Title: Network Engineer 

Reporting Relationship: Reporting to Group Project Manager

 

Key Responsibilities:

 Testing and Validation:

Conduct comprehensive testing of Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ACI, and firewall configurations.

Identify and address issues, security vulnerabilities and optimization, as required. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and configure network devices.

 

Firewall Management:

Configure and manage A10 and F5 firewall to enforce security policies. Collaborate with the security team to implement and monitor firewall rules.

 

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve network issues related to Nexus, ACI, Catalyst, A10 and F5 firewall technologies. Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard network infrastructure.

 

Documentation:

Prepare and publish the Test Plans, Test Cases, Execution Status and detailed reports.

Maintain up-to-date documentation of Nexus, Catalyst, ACI, and firewall configurations.

 

MANDATORY Qualifications and Skills:

  • [MUST] Hands-on experience in testing Cisco Devices not limited to Nexus, ACI, Catalyst and firewall solutions.
  • [MUST] Hands-on experience in A10 series/F5 BiG-IP / FortiGate devices.
  • [MUST] Experience in configuring/troubleshooting LSN, CG-NAT, Load balancing, Inline Proxy, High Availability, Firewall, Tunnel (IP-SEC) features.
  • Strong understanding and configuration knowledge in L2/L3 Protocols, HSRP, VRRP protocols
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles and best practices.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze / resolve network issues.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, ACI)
  • Firewall Related Certifications
