Software Architect

NEC Corporation of America, Irving, TX. Architect, design, configure & test new innovative apps incl extensive software revisions, upgrades & software products for retail solutions. Design & develop new features in company’s Retail IT Solution software products & provide customization of POS & RIS to N. American markets. Develop architecture for POS & RIS product implementation in company’s Retail IT Solution software product, Back Office & POS applications. Define retail solution software product reqs & create high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality & integration w/new-existing systems/ platforms. Code, review, prepare test data, test & debug. Provide analysis, evaluations & interpret customer needs & available tech, assesses reqs & identify solutions. Maintain & enhance tech expertise keeping current w/evolving systems analysis programming & database tech. Produce business, system, tech, program & user documentation for all systems created w/in dept to meet SDLC deliverable reqs. Travel to client sites as necessary.

Min req incl: Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, CS or CIS & 1 yr exp w/C, C++, VC++, C#.net, TFS & SQL & 1 yr developing POS app for retail solutions focusing on POS Back Office, Employee Maintenance, Clienteling, & Credit & GC transactions.
