Head of Marketing, Avaloq Americas

The Role
As a Head of Marketing, Avaloq Americas you will play a pivotal role in establishing and expanding our presence in the US market. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate directly with the Head of Avaloq Americas and the Business Development Director, Americas, to design and execute a regional marketing strategy for the Americas. You'll have the unique advantage of bringing your deep knowledge and experience within the financial services industry to build a marketing approach and core capabilities from the ground up, assessing the market opportunity, and connecting Avaloq’s brand, products and solutions to clients’ needs in the Americas.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand narrative and messaging: Build the firm’s strategic narrative as an industry-leading platform for banks and wealth managers, including understanding the market environment, competitor landscape, and client needs to build brand awareness and messaging that resonates with target segments in the financial services industry.
- Integrated Marketing, Technology and Data platforms: Establish and strengthen foundational infrastructure and capabilities across Marketing, Technology, Data & Analytics platforms to market to and convert client segments with compelling user journeys and experiences.
- Omni-Channel planning and execution: Develop omnichannel marketing campaigns and go-to-market plans to promote the firm’s leadership insights and robust suite of end-to-end capabilities in helping clients transform their businesses and achieve increased efficiency.
- Performance measurement and optimization: Drive earned, owned, and paid Marketing initiatives–with ongoing measurement of performance and results to drive optimization and enhanced business outcomes across high impact channels.
- Business relationships and partnerships: Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders (Product, Technology, Sales, Legal & Compliance, and firm-wide Marketing) and identify strong external partners and agencies (PR, design & advertising agencies, third party partners) to ensure alignment with the firm’s strategy and advance its objectives and goals.

Key Qualifications
- Masters degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- 10-15 years in a senior marketing leadership position within the Financial Services industry, with proven experience developing and executing marketing strategies in Banking or Wealth Management sectors (start-up experience a plus).
- Expertise in owned, earned, and paid channels, including media publications, industry events, social media, and advertising.
- Experience in integrating marketing channels with technology and data platforms to ensure effective campaign execution and measurement.
- Skilled in developing a deep understanding of market, competitor, and client analysis to identify key opportunities and target audience segments.
- Focus on obtaining and monitoring key client insights to develop and tailor messaging and communications to their needs.
- Strong communicator and collaborator with dedication to fostering strong business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency with creating and managing marketing budget and forecasts across Marketing channels and negotiating and establishing contracts with agencies and vendor partners.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $203,000 - $263,500 with a target annual 40% bonus; depending upon the selected candidate’s relevant experience, the exact salary for the role may fall outside of this range. This role will also be eligible to participate in the Company’s bonus/incentive program(s).
