We are seeking a Contract Administrator who has experience with sell side Proposals in Government / Federal &/or State and Local contracts within the IT and SaaS industry.

This role support technology business units that deal in biometrics and digital ID, supporting sell side contracts for Federal, State and Local Government

and Aviation clients.

 

Summary -

Responsible for the administration of small to medium sized Government, State and Local, and Federal contracts, including the preparation, review and editing of sell side proposals and contractual provisions. Requires ability to develop solutions to complex business/contractual problems that require a high degree of analysis and understanding of internal and external policies and regulations. Must be detail-oriented, well organized, and a skilled multi-tasker. Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management are important.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for preparing bids and negotiating specifications and contractual provisions.
  • Provide guidance to team members to ensure RFP/RFQ contractual requirements can be achieved and assist in developing alternate strategies in order to maintain a compliant response/proposal.
  • Communicate contract related proposal/program risk areas, and make recommendations to the project staff and management.
  • Advise management of contractual rights and obligations and provide interpretation of terms and conditions.
  • Working within established processes, lead the finalization of contracts and/or agreements and changes thereto, including, Contracts, Proprietary Information, NDA's and Teaming Agreements.
  • Monitor expirations, renewals and closeout of Contracts, Proprietary Information, and Teaming Agreements, and any other pertinent legal documentation.
  • Administer correspondence, reports, proposal submittals and other contracts’ communications with customers to ensure timely and coordinated responses and compliance with contract terms and conditions. 
  • Maintain liaison with the Customer for purposes of facilitating contract negotiation and execution of conflict resolution.

Prerequisites:

  • 3+ years’ experience in drafting, analyzing, amending and negotiating contract required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in software and services transactions preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university required.
  • Paralegal Certification preferred but not required.
  • Certification in government contracts preferred but not required.

 

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

Solid analytical, organizational and negotiation skills

Team player with history of success in communicating with all levels of management and customers.

Demonstrated capabilities in written and oral communication

Working knowledge and understanding of the state and federal procurement regulations preferred but not required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and Ironclad Digital Contracts software.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $105,000 with a target annual 10% bonus; depending upon the selected candidate’s relevant experience, the exact salary for the role may fall outside of this range. This role will also be eligible to participate in the Company’s bonus/incentive program(s).
