NEC Digital Platform division in US delivers vision AI, GenAI and DX transformation technology and services to enterprise and government customers in US and global market. We are seeking a Director of Business and Partnership Development to work closely with NEC and affiliate business units to promote and expand our DX transformation services, products/technologies and platform to existing and new customers.

 

As a strategic leader, you are responsible for expanding the company's market presence and driving revenue growth by identifying, cultivating, and managing key business leads and partnerships. You will work closely with NEC US DPF business unit and NEC affiliate partner company ABEAM to expand NEC DX transformation business in US.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Work closely with ABEAM and NEC DPF business units to develop and implement a comprehensive partnership and business development strategy to support growth and revenue objectives.
  • Drive revenue by working closely with both business units to expand our services to existing and new customers.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with strategic customers and partners. Serve as the primary liaison for key partnerships, fostering open communication and managing the partnership lifecycle from negotiation through to execution and renewal.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for partnership within and beyond the industry.
  • Work closely with product, marketing, sales, and customer success teams of both NEC and ABEAM business units to ensure seamless delivery of services and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Lead contract negotiations, defining terms and agreements that benefit both the company and the customer, ensuring compliance with legal and financial requirements.
  • Manage contract renewals and terms to secure long-term value and address evolving business needs.
  • Track and report on partnership performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.

Experience and expertise:
•    At least five years of experience in account management and key partner management.
•    Prior experience in managing key accounts in technology sales companies is required.
•    Strong understanding of business development strategies, market trends, and competitive analysis.
•    Strategic thinking and the ability to translate business needs into opportunities.
•    Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•    Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
•    Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (MBA preferred).
 

The anticipated salary range for this position is $140,000 - $181,500 with a target annual 20% bonus; depending upon the selected candidate’s relevant experience, the exact salary for the role may fall outside of this range. This role will also be eligible to participate in the Company’s bonus/incentive program(s).
