We are currently seeking a Regional Head of Corporate IT to lead our Corporate IT function across ANZ.

 

Background

The Regional Head of Corporate IT is responsible for leading and managing the Corporate IT function within ANZ, ensuring seamless alignment with global IT strategies and regional business objectives. This role emphasizes strong collaboration with Regional IT teams, Regional Centres of Excellence (CoEs), and global IT counterparts to drive consistency, innovation, and excellence in IT and Security initiatives. 

 

Key accountabilities include:

 

Strategic Leadership & Alignment

  • Develop and execute the ANZ IT Strategy in alignment with regional and global objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison between regional and global IT leadership to ensure mutual understanding and implementation of priorities and initiatives.
  • Manage ANZ IT budget, procurement and vendor relationships.
  • Champion the adoption of global IT standards, frameworks, and best practices across the region.
  • Lead and mentor a team of IT professional, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Develop workforce capability through training, development and succession planning. 

 

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Foster strong partnerships with other regional IT teams and Centres of Excellence to ensure collaboration and coordinated delivery of IT services and solutions.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams to support enterprise-wide programs, including digital transformation, cybersecurity, and infrastructure modernization.
  • Represent regional interests in global IT forums and working groups.

 

Operational Excellence

  • Lead the rollout of global IT programs within the ANZ region.
  • Lead the delivery of Corporate IT services within the ANZ region, ensuring high availability, performance, and user satisfaction.
  • Lead the delivery of stable, secure, and scalable IT services and infrastructure across the ANZ region.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of enterprise systems, networks, and end-user services within the ANZ region.
  • Ensure the highest levels of integrity, availability and confidentiality of cloud and on-premise IT systems and applications within the ANZ region.
  • Ensure ANZ IT operations comply with regional/global ISO27001 standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with regional/global IT governance, risk management, and security policies.

 

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Research, identify and implement opportunities for digital transformation and innovation to support business growth and efficiency.
  • Lead regional pilots and proof-of-concept initiatives in collaboration with CoEs and global teams.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the IT team.

 

We are looking for someone with:

  • An ability to develop, articulate and implement strategic IT or business technology strategies aligned with overall organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated experience leading strategic initiatives and driving digital transformation at a regional level.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior management and contribute to ANZ-wide strategic planning.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems
  • Proven experience working in a multinational, matrixed organization.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating across geographies.
  • Strong understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in managing and configuration of M365 systems and a good understanding of the licensing model of M365
  • Expertise in data centre management and data governance
  • Knowledge of computer networks, network administration and network installation
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring a team of experienced technical engineers.
  • Ability to work independently & effectively with teams across Asia both in person and online.
  • Ability to think creatively and work under pressure.
  • Ability to travel within Asia as required.
