Our Sales Operations team delivers the activities and processes that support NEC Sales. The department exists to build on or above target profitable revenue by increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the go to market activity. This is delivered through a functional responsibility for the Sales and Commercial Operations, including but not limited to; Inside Sales, Deal Desk, Sales Support, Sales Systems and Process, Data and Analysis, and Sales Compensation.

 

We are now looking for a Commission and Incentive Lead to join our team.

 

The role will be responsible for the end to end ownership of the NEC Australia sales incentive program.  This includes the design and implementation of policy and process to best achieve our strategic and operational objectives, while reinforcing pay for performance under a consistent framework. 

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Own the plan design, simulations, offline calculations, training, participant support and attainment calculation 
  • Collaborate with local Sales Operations teams to ensure target setting process is aligned with sales incentive quotas and policies 
  • Partner with the Finance and People & Culture to ensure proper governance and controls when launching and administrating existing sales compensation plans 
  • Design compensation metrics, reports, and tools to deliver payments, and inform program decisions or analyse business outcomes 
  • Participate in the ongoing development of sales compensation plans as the sales organisation matures 
  • Ensure internal customers (Sales & Finance) have high satisfaction levels in their dealings with Sales Comp function

 

Key Skills and Experience  

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

 

  • 5+ years Sales Incentive experience 
  • Experience in payment processing and design of an incentive scheme for an Enterprise Sales Force 
  • Experience in scheme design, approval and launch to Sales 
  • Analysis and reporting experience on Sales Performance and related incentive scheme(s) 
  • Experience in data quality remediation and management advantageous
