Systems Engineer

We’re seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our Darwin-based team on a permanent basis, responsible for maintaining and monitoring core business infrastructure and systems. 

This role involves delivering technology solutions, responding to Severity 2 and 3 incidents, and supporting both service and project requests. 

Responsibilities 

• Implement and support infrastructure technologies across a range of business systems. 

• Respond to and resolve Severity 2 and 3 incidents in a timely manner. 

• Manage service and project requests with a customer-focused approach. 

• Contribute to infrastructure design, implementation, and ongoing support. 

• Able to Participate in after-hours work, on-call roster, and project activities as required. 

Skills & Experience 

We’re looking for candidates with demonstrated experience across the following: 

• Experience across both Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems 

• Experience with Group Policy including Windows Desktop lockdowns, drive mappings and preference items 

• Good working knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange 

• Sound knowledge of NTFS security in an enterprise environment 

• Understanding IT Service Management concepts 

• Ability to apply ITIL concepts within the workplace 

• Understanding of Microsoft Cloud services and knowledge across Entra, Intune, Exchange Online 

• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, solid troubleshooting knowledge for both On-Prem and Microsoft Cloud infrastructure 

• Linux skillset would be advantageous 

• Attention to detail and customer focused
