Contracts Manager

About the role

This full-time Contracts Manager role is a key position within NEC Australia Pty Ltd, based in Darwin, Northern Territory. As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end contract management processes, ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled efficiently and in compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the drafting, negotiation, and execution of commercial contracts, including service level agreements, procurement contracts, and partnership agreements
• Monitor contract performance and compliance, identifying and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise
• Provide guidance and support to project teams on contractual matters, ensuring all projects are delivered in accordance with contractual terms
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates, policies, and procedures to streamline the contracting process
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, procurement, and finance, to ensure a cohesive and effective contract management approach
• Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's contract management practices

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in contract management, preferably within the Information & Communication Technology industry
• Excellent understanding of contract law, negotiation, and dispute resolution techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate contractual risks
• Proficient in the use of contract management software and tools
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise with cross-functional teams
