Application Packaging Engineer

About the role

We’re looking for an Application Packaging Engineer to support, maintain, and optimise the tools used for software and operating system deployment, including Microsoft Configuration Manager and Adaptiva. In this role, you’ll also provide technical support to Application Packagers on more complex packaging activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrate and validate new hardware within Microsoft Configuration Manager for OSD, ensuring all required drivers and driver applications are properly installed.
• Maintain and administer deployment tools and servers, including Microsoft Configuration Manager and Adaptiva.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the application packaging process and ensure work instructions remain accurate and up to date.
• Collaborate with Senior Application Engineers, Architects, and Security teams to test and implement SOE configuration changes.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience in application packaging.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Configuration Manager and Adaptiva in a Windows Server environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Familiarity with Intune, Microsoft 365, and ITIL practices.
