About the role
The Application Tools Team is responsible of maintaining and configuring the tools used for software deployment and operating system deployment using Microsoft Configuration Manager and Adaptive. Assisting the Application packagers with more complex packaging requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and integrate new Hardware into Microsoft Configuration Manager for OSD ensuring all drivers and required driver apps are installed
• Assist Application packagers
o Advanced packaging issues o Help mentor junior packagers
• Maintain Management tools/servers (Microsoft Configuration Manager, Adaptiva)
o Assist with keeping tools/servers versions up to date up
o Assist with any build issues
o Assist with Identifying, testing and implementing any improvements to the build process
o Assist with any software deployment and install issues
• Help identifing any improvements to the application packaging process, keeping WI’s up to date
• Assist Applications Senior, Architects and Security with testing and implementing any SOE configuration changes
What We’re Looking For:
• 2+ Years with the application packaging • Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
• Good Knowledge of Microsoft Configuration Manager and Adaptiva on Windows server systems
• Good trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and standards
• Good knowledge of Powershell and SQL
• Some knowledge and or experience with Intune and Office 365
