Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Kubernetes, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and infrastructure automation. The candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing scalable and secure containerized environments while ensuring high availability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters for development, testing, and production environments.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Monitor cluster health, application performance, and infrastructure availability.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Configure and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting tools.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and performance-related issues.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline release processes.
- Ensure platform security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery processes are in place.
- Optimize resource utilization, scalability, and system reliability.
- Support production releases and provide operational support when required.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or cloud infrastructure management.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration and orchestration.
- Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
- Good knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.
- Experience with Linux system administration and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
- Understanding of networking, load balancing, ingress controllers, and security best practices.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Preferred Qualifications
- Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies like Istio.
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices and security automation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Good to Have
- Experience with multi-cluster Kubernetes management.
- Knowledge of ArgoCD, FluxCD, or other GitOps tools.
- Experience in production support and incident management.
