Summary
Partner with the NSS President and executive leadership to drive strategic priorities and business objectives. Lead HR strategy, workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning while ensuring regulatory compliance. Champion culture, employee engagement, and cross-organizational initiatives that support a high-performing, inclusive workplace.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- 30% - Oversee Shared Services resources and engagement processes between NSS, SWS and other NEC entities, as well as directing third party resources and all aspects of the PEO
- 25% - Responsible for planning, leading, and scaling all human resources strategies, programs and operations to support the organization's goals, including cultural change management initiatives that ensure a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture
- 20% - Assist the NSS President and leadership team to deliver the priorities required to achieve NSS’ vision and business objectives; provide HR insights and recommendations on people-related decisions and business planning
- 15% - Coordinate and drive high priority challenges and opportunities that span the organization, and assist in leading NSS personnel in effective planning, execution and communication of business strategies
- 10% - Direct the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the company complies with all Public Law, Health and Safety and other statutory regulations

Prerequisites
Education: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree desirable.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
- Self-confidence, be a good listener, be a team player, easily cultivate and gain client trust, exhibit humility, have good communication skills, and be able to showcase expert knowledge.
- Understand and manage P&L including Orders, Sales and Operating Profit. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as discounting, profitability, probability and statistical interference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to rationalize complex sales and staff member situations and to initiate corrective action through the following; listening to all members, identifying stake holder motivations, identifying root cause, isolating exaggerations, and taking corrective action to improve the overall situation.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $148,000 to $195,000 with a target annual bonus of 25%; depending upon the selected candidate’s relevant experience, the exact salary for the role may fall outside of this range. This role will also be eligible to participate in the Company’s bonus/incentive program(s).
